A woman was left stunned when a stranger she briefly chatted to on a train tracked her down.
Lynda Lorraine shared the bizarre text exchange between her and Josh, where she called him out for being “creepy” after he text her out of the blue.
Lynda, from the UK, shared the messages on twitter asking if she was “overreacting”, The Sun reports.
She explained: “So I briefly spoke to someone on the train last week, we didn’t even exchange socials or anything and today he messaged me.
“Am I overreacting by being creeped out because what on earth.”
She shared snaps of the exchange, which begins by the man introducing himself as “Josh from the train”.
He claims to have got Lynda’s number from one of her friends, adding: “I hope u don’t mind.”
The man then explained that he tracked down her Instagram and messaged her friends on there to ask for her contact details. He said he didn’t want to direct message her on the platform because he only goes that to girls “he wants to pipe”.
After the conversation continued and more details emerged, Lynda said she was “not flattered” and found his actions “weird and invasive”.
Sis be safe and look out! He knows you take the train might 'bump' into you there. Maybe go to the authorities. They'll probably dismiss you, but maybe your lucky and they keep it on record. He's a little too comfortable with crossing boundaries for this to be his first time
