Donald Trump Jr.’s new book launched last week, and it’s named “Triggered: How the Left Thrives on Hate and Wants to Silence Us”.
The reviews say that the book largely focuses on Trump’s family and how it has been “victimized” by their political opponents as a result of his father’s presidency.

However, most people have been talking about one specific chapter, and it’s called “Election Night”. Don Jr. spends a lot of time in the chapter talking about the financial strain that the election has had on his family, and he even compares it to the sacrifices made by U.S. soldiers that lose their lives in action.

Don Jr writes about a visit to Arlington National Cemetary the day before his father’s inauguration, and he shared that he very rarely gets emotional, but he had a deep sense of the importance of the presidency and their love for the country as they drove past the rows of white grave markers.

He writes that he also thought of all the attacks his family had gone through at that moment, and about all the sacrifices they had to make to help his father succeed, including voluntarily giving up a huge chunk of their business and all international deals to avoid the appearance that they were “profiting off of the office”.

He even added that the sacrifice costs them millions and millions of dollars annually.

Expectedly, social media users weren’t too happy about the comparison, and many of them wrote that comparing his “silver spoon” lifestyle to the ultimate sacrifice one can make for their country is offensive and incredibly disrespectful.
