The Nation’s Largest Anti-Abortion Organization Plans To Spend $41 Million To Reelect Trump

The nation’s largest anti-abortion organization, Susan B. Anthony List, plans to spend $41 million in the 2020 election to help President Donald Trump be reelected, and the anti-choice members of Congress with him.

President Marjorie Dannenfelser said at the group’s annual fundraising dinner in Washington D.C. that they’ll work closely with their local allies on the most ambitious pro-life legislative agenda in history to aggressively change, erode, and finally overturn Roe v. Wade.

And, she added that they will be protecting their pro-life Senate majority and increase their ranks in the House, and reelecting Trump.

President Trump has been banking on inflammatory misinformation about pro-choice measures to rile up his base in 2020, as he has consistently misrepresented efforts in New York and Virginia to expend access to ending pregnancies later in pregnancy. He even painted Democrats as promoting “infanticide”.

Dannenfelser has called these efforts a “gift” for the anti-choice movement, and she told the crown that the pro-choice extremists are giving them an unlikely gift going into 2020.

Her announcement comes as many states have already passed their bills which restrict access to abortion or outright ban the procedure.
The Guttmacher Institute reports that 378 abortion restrictions have been introduced between January 1 and May 20 of this year, and their ultimate goal is overturning Roe. v Wade.
