If you have ever performed a plank, you probably know just how deceivingly difficult it is.
You lay forward with your forearms, while the only other thing touching the ground are your toes.
Most people have their legs shaking after just a few minutes of doing the plank, however, most people are not Dana Glowacka.
Dana Glowacka is a woman from Montreal who recently set the astonishing new world-record in the women’s plank, clocking a time of 4 hours and 20 minutes at the First International Plank Training Conference.
You read that right: 4 hours and 20 minutes!
The former world record stood at 3 hours and 30 minutes, which means Glowacka broke the record for almost an hour.
The video of Glowacka shows that she was shaking far less than most of us would after just 30 seconds, which is even more impressive.
The Montrealer is a fitness enthusiast, and she has built up her core strength through activities like yoga.
She wrote in her Instagram caption that her brother surprised her with a 24-hour trip just to support her, and he was standing strong by her side like an Angel.
Check out the video for yourself below. Also, congratulations to Glowacka for her new world-record!
